The Process

Clay Tiles

Raw clay is shaped into tiles and kiln-fired at high temperature — creating a dense, durable base that will hold the glaze and withstand time.

Raw Material

Glazing

Each tile is hand-glazed in your chosen bespoke colors — vert, bleu, beige, multicolor, or fully custom. Lead-free glazes, fired to perfection.

Your Colors

Hand-Chiselling

The zelligeur — master of an ancestral art dating back to 10th century Fez — cuts each tile by hand with surgical precision. No two tiles are alike. This is the soul of Zellige.

Assembly

Tiles are assembled face-down in a custom mold according to your chosen design, pattern, and exact dimensions. Every fountain is entirely unique.

Fully Bespoke

Curing

The assembled fountain cures for 30–40 days. This critical phase ensures structural solidity and long-term weather resistance.

Finishing

Each piece is refined, cleaned, and passes a strict quality check before leaving the atelier — ensuring it meets Moorish Craft standards.
